Experts in the Building Envelope for Three Generations – Mongrain Inc. specializes in insulation and has been serving their clients for the past 60 years.

Donat Mongrain founded the company in 1955 and since its inception they have developed and perfected their competence and expertise in respects to the many different types of insulation on the market today such as; the air seal, fire proofing, thermal as well as other related applications.

During the course of time the management of the company has been passed down from father to son, from Donat Mongrain to Raymond Mongrain.Today the institution is recognized for their quality of work and considers itself to be one of the important players in the industry today.

In 1995, Karl Mongrain, the 3rd generation of entrepreneurs, began his own company, Multi-Énergie, as well as acquiring the position as President of Insulation Mongrain Inc. Subsequently, this change in leadership lead to the acquisition of comparable industry assets furthermore Mongrain continues to develop its client base. Among their clients we find: Hydro-Québec, SNC Lavalin, Pomerleau, Aluminerie Alouette, QIT Iron and Titanium as well as many others. The company was also nominated for their expertise in the category of the Building Envelope in 2005 and receives the "Energia" award.

With three generations of expertise in the building envelope and insulation, Mongrain continues to serve their clients with solutions that are tailored to their clients problems to ensure security, comfort and energy efficiency.
